Today, I ventured into the Selva de Mar area for a brief exploration to capture the contrasts visible between modern architecture and old buildings in the San Marti area of Barcelona. I quickly edited the photos and found myself pondering whether it might be more beautiful to photograph architecture in its context, without trying to isolate the buildings as beautiful icons lacking a backdrop.
