Casa CJ, a single-family house designed by Claudina Relat Arquitectura in the Bages region of Catalonia, was featured in NAN Arquitectura in February 2024.
The project stands out for its clear sustainability approach and restrained contemporary language. The house is organised around an interior patio that distributes the programme and brings natural light and ventilation deep into the plan. The ground floor accommodates the day areas and parking, while the upper floor holds the private quarters — all daytime spaces oriented towards the south façade, where a 14-metre pergola filters light and prevents overheating.
The photography assignment focused on capturing the interplay between the architecture’s clean geometry and the natural landscape of Catalonia’s central region — a project where precision of form and environmental sensitivity work in close dialogu
