Renovation of a ground-floor apartment

This project showcases the renovation of a ground-floor apartment with a patio in the heart of Barcelona, where tradition meets contemporary design. Executed by Construcciones Perramont and designed by Álvaro Barrón / Cobalto Studio, it seamlessly blends warm materials and natural textures with a carefully curated color palette.

Exposed brick walls, handcrafted reddish tiles, and dark wood elements create a dialogue between the historical character of the space and modern functionality. The interior patio serves as a light-filled hub, connecting the different areas and bringing a sense of calm to the home.

This project goes beyond simply rehabilitating the physical space—it celebrates the original architectural details by reinterpreting them with a fresh and elegant perspective, resulting in a home where every corner tells a story.
