Gatsbi Barcelona is one of the city’s most iconic and visually striking dining destinations. This renowned restaurant and sushi bar stands out not only for its gastronomic proposal, but also for its bold and immersive interior design, which has earned recognition at the Bar Design Awards for its outstanding spatial concept.
Designed by Daniel Poch, founder of Dpoch Studio, a highly respected name in the international hospitality design scene, Gatsbi is a masterclass in contemporary nightlife and restaurant interiors. Poch is known for creating atmospheres that are both dramatic and refined, combining sculptural forms, rich materials and carefully choreographed lighting to shape unforgettable guest experiences.
This project presented a unique photographic challenge. The dark tones, reflective surfaces and accent lighting create a complex visual environment that requires a precise balance between light and shadow. Our goal was not simply to document the space, but to translate its mood, rhythm and sensory intensity into images.
Through careful composition and lighting control, the photography highlights the architectural flow of the interiors, the depth of the textures and the intimate yet theatrical ambiance that defines Gatsbi. The result is a visual narrative that reflects the character of the space—sophisticated, bold and unmistakably Barcelona—while honoring the vision of one of the leading designers in contemporary hospitality.
