Multifuncional building

Multifunctional Building at Sangulí Camping & Resort, Salou

This multifunctional building, located within the Sangulí Camping & Resort in Salou, is a contemporary architectural intervention designed to accommodate a wide range of uses while maintaining a strong relationship with its natural surroundings.

Conceived as a flexible and open structure, the building is defined by its clear geometry, exposed structural system, and extensive use of wood, which gives the project a warm, natural character and reinforces its connection to the Mediterranean landscape. The generous roof overhangs and open perimeter allow the space to adapt seamlessly to different activities, providing shelter while remaining visually and physically open to the exterior.

My photographic approach focused on documenting the architectural clarity of the project and the precision of its construction. Through careful framing and a balanced use of natural light, the images highlight the structural rhythm, material textures, and the dialogue between architecture, vegetation, and open space. Special attention was given to the way light filters through the structure at different moments of the day, emphasizing both the functionality and the atmosphere of the building.

Rather than presenting the space as a static object, this photographic series aims to convey how the architecture is experienced: as a versatile, welcoming environment that supports everyday use while maintaining a strong architectural identity. The project stands as an example of how contemporary design and construction can create high-quality, adaptable spaces within leisure and hospitality contexts.
