It’s an honor to present this apartment renovation project in Barcelona’s Eixample neighborhood, designed by the talented interior designer Marta Castellano. As a photographer, I had the privilege of capturing every detail of this unique and sophisticated space.
One of the most striking features of the apartment is the restoration of the hydraulic tile flooring, which is presented in different geometric patterns throughout almost every room. This adds not only originality to the space but also becomes a key element in shaping the atmosphere of each area.
Another standout feature is the open-plan kitchen, which connects to the living room and is separated by a custom-made cabinet, creating a sense of continuity and spaciousness.
The dark tones on the walls, combined with the warmth of wood and terracotta, create a calming, intimate, and elegant ambiance. These colors also help highlight the beauty and character of the antique and modern furniture that the owner has carefully chosen to decorate the space.
